My name is Roni Lehrer. I am Interim Professor of Comparative Politics at the Goethe University Frankfurt and post-doctoral fellow at the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research at the University of Mannheim.
I study the interactions between parties and voters in democracies. I am especially interested in understanding how politics within parties shapes party behavior and voter behavior. I also analyze what role parties play in the diffusion of policies across borders. My research allows me to answer highly important questions on how parties enable and prohibit representation in modern democracies.
I am proud to volunteer as a mentor to several high-achieving students at various stages of their education in collaboration with ELES.
